Hi! My name is Maykell (weird name, I know!)
In 2009, I moved to the great state of Ohio. I love everything “Columbus.” I got married in 2012.
Since then, my family has grown by two boys, Benji and Luke, two doggos, Maggie & Lexi, and one cat, buttercup!
I am also known as DeepDish in the gloom IYKYK ;)
While I truly enjoy the city, I can’t deny that my true love lies in the wilderness.
I love the forest, mountains, and traveling!
Are you into Harry Potter, The Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, The Office, Ted Lasso, How I Met Your Mother, and Parks and Rec? Did we just become best friends?
Some of my other passions/hobbies are playing the guitar, long-range shooting, and finding new ways to quote the office randomly in my conversations except in conversations with my wife.
She is not a fan, at least that’s what she said ;)
I have had a passion for journalism from the time I was young. I love documenting memories whether in writing, videos, or photographs. That combined with my love for weddings and people is what, I believe, makes me such a passionate photographer.
I am a believer, I am a husband, I am a father, I am a friend.
Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at a work worth doing.” By documenting life's greatest moments, I live that statement.

I do! I work with the same second shooters every season. I like the consistency they bring to our workflow. You can bet that my second shooter will be someone who I would trust with my own wedding. Usually those second shooters are Sherine or Mallory!
